About me: I would say the characteristic that most carries me through life is grit. A combination of guts, resilience, initiative, and tenacity have been the essential ingredients in my personal and professional success. These traits are also the basis on which Newfil is founded.
I maintain a passion, and perseverance for the long term, no matter the goal and its challenges.
My childhood in Manenberg and Mitchell’s Plain has been instrumental in my journey and has pushed me to achieve the goals I set out for myself.
These include having a home I can retire to at the sea in Fish Hoek and taking a year for myself to travel the world, both of which I have achieved.
When I returned to South Africa in 2019, I founded Newfil on my values of loyalty, care, respect, honesty, and boldness.
The books that have shaped me are “Seeking Allah Finding Jesus” – by Nabeel Qureshi, “Seven Habits of Highly Effective People” – by Stephen Covey, and “Hearing Grasshoppers Jump” – by Raymond Ackerman.
When I’m not working I’m spending time with my family, playing chess, fishing or reading.
How I can help your business: My over 35 years of experience in this industry have equipped me with an immense understanding of the challenges, and adversities that clients face in ISO certification and training.
It has also prepared me for the vast array of unique situations that can crop up during these processes, and how that may affect an organization.
More specifically, it has given me a wealth of insight into how these process impact employees and other personnel that a company might work with.
I understand the need for and the effect of getting things done with urgency, and am able to effectively translate that to an organization where this understanding is lacking.
My priority is to help businesses become compliant and upgrade systems through the most effective, efficient, and budget-friendly process. To do this, Newfil employs a team of world-class ISO professionals.
My experience goes beyond the borders of South Africa, having worked in Egypt as a Country Operations Manager. I managed a factory with over 500 employees and 4 warehouses around the country.

About me: I was born and raised in Paarl, which gave me a great love for the outdoors and rugby. I enjoy reading John Grisham novels and watching documentaries.

I have worked for different Certification bodies like SABS, SAIG, and Aspirata (NOSA) as well as organizations in the Chemical and Leather industries.

I’ve come a long way since growing up in Strandfontein, Cape Town. I am proud of the strength and perseverance that allowed me to focus on my education and prosper from my roots. My personal and professional values align with the values on which Newfil was founded.

I’m currently loving a Podcast called “No such thing as a fish”.
For downtime, I’m always a fan of watching series or movies.
Since we live in the Western Cape, I’m a true ocean and mountain lover. I’m also a keen domino and 30 Seconds player.
How I can help your business: I have a wealth of experience in administration and coordinating training interventions. I’m multi-skilled and qualified, having obtained my BSc in 2016 from UCT. I also have an Honours degree from UWC.
I enjoyed the practical side of studying and this certainly translates into my approach to assisting clients through all the practicalities of certification and training.

About me: I grew up in Westridge, Mitchells Plain. I grew up in a diverse culture of Christianity and
Islam. With this diversity, I was taught to always pursue my dreams no matter what.
Becoming a mother at a young age gave me the drive and determination to continue to persist and pursue my goals. To this day I continue to strive toward becoming the best version of myself that I can be for myself and my 3 children. I hold the belief that what we believe filters down and inspires who we are and what we do.
How I can help your business: I have over 15 years of experience in Management Systems. I have an incredible drive and passion for these systems and helping companies integrate them for overall business success.
I have an absolute love for management systems. My understanding of the diversity of cultures within organizations is at the heart of what I do. I am motivated by showing businesses how to encourage and embrace the benefits of management systems. I learned to be transparent in any standard given to me that needed to be implemented and
maintained.
