Newfil Consultancy (Pty) Ltd (registration no. 2019/245148/07) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, where it is stored and the rights you have under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
Who is responsible

We only collect what we need to respond to you. We do not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote and phone you at the time you booked
- To send you your readiness check result if you ask for it
- To keep a record of enquiries and the work we do for you
- To understand how the website is used so we can improve it
We process your information with your consent, which you give when you submit a form, or where it is needed to provide the service you asked for.
Who helps us process it
We use trusted service providers to run this website and our systems. They may only use your information to provide their service to us:
- Website hosting (Afrihost, South Africa)
- Booking calendar (Cal.com, linked to our Google Calendar)
- Email delivery
- Website analytics (Google Analytics)
- The ISO assistant, which is powered by an AI service (Anthropic)
Information stored outside South Africa
Some of these providers store data outside South Africa. We only use providers that are bound by data protection laws or agreements that give a level of protection similar to POPIA, as section 72 of POPIA requires.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and client records for as long as we need them to provide our services and to meet legal and tax requirements, and then delete them securely.
How we protect it
Access is limited to the people at Newfil who need it, accounts are protected by strong passwords, with two-step verification on website administrator logins, all data is sent over secure HTTPS connections, and our systems are backed up regularly.
Your rights under POPIA
- Ask what personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct or delete it
- Object to us processing it or withdraw your consent
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator at inforegulator.org.za
